Hi, my name is Tess Hyre!

I began my journey in the corporate world after graduating from Shepherd University, in Shepherdstown, WV in Communications, where I then went onto getting my Masters in Business and Administration from Shepherd University. During the duration of my college years, I competed in the Miss America Organization, seeking to claim the title of Miss West Virginia and advance to Miss America. Though I made it many years as a runner-up/finalist, I truly fell in love with helping others. Whether it was on interview skills, fashion advice, or hair and makeup, you name it and I’d be over with a deck of notecards, a teasing comb, and a pack of butt glue. Yes, you read that right. Even after my Miss America days, I went on to Miss USA, seeking the same title, Miss WV USA, and though I fell short as a runner-up, I still found myself in the same position, always wanting to help the other girls succeed and capture their dreams. 

Fast forward to 2020, where I, along with millions of other people, found myself at home, baking more, online shopping in hopes to wear the cute office clothes post-pandemic, working out more, but also connecting more with friends and making new friends through social media and really getting to know some amazing women starting new journeys with their personal and professional careers.. Then a spark happened. I knew there needed to be a platform for women to come together, share their stories, but also ask for help on careers, fashion, health and wellness, parental help, you name it, I wanted to talk about it and then came The Boss Babes Corner.

Over the course of a year, I have been able to interview some incredible women, share their journeys, and their businesses for any other women who need encouragement and guidance from others. On top of that, I’ve now expanded to offer more services to Boss Babes, who may need assistance with their resumes, cover letters, interviews, and some wardrobe tips. Now this doesn’t just include business ventures, no, this is also for women who are wanting to enter into pageantry or may need that extra little spark to make them the ultimate Boss Babe on stage. No matter your needs, ladies, I am here to help you. So come along, enjoy, and let’s be Boss Babes together.
