Office Boss Babe Gift Guide

The holidays are coming and you know what that means, holiday gift guides! Something I love to do is refresh my wardrobe for the office. Being on the east coast, it’s pretty chilly in the fall and winter months, so layering is key. Something I’ve noted before, so I’ll say it once more, is plaid. Plaid is a hot trend this season, especially in coats and blazers.

This blue peacoat featured below is a staple to have this season. Pair it with a turtleneck sweater, black trouser, a sleek black ballet flat, and gold jewelry, it makes for the perfect office outfit. Another great thing about plaid is that there are multiple colors in the coat, so you can switch out the colors you wear in the top and pant, let the peacoat be the staple point for this outfit. You also have to have a nice tote purse for your busy office days. This reversible faux leather tote with matching wristlet by Street Level is perfect. Why? Because when you want to run out for that late morning coffee or grab lunch with your colleagues, you can take the wristlet and leave the rest back at your office. It’s a two in one steal! Not to mention, it’s reversible so it will go with every outfit.

So we have the coat and tote, no pun intended, covered, but what about the rest? I’m glad you asked. Now creams are always a crowd favorite as well, especially with this blazer from Ann Taylor. Cream colors are always going to be in and not something that will let anyone down, no matter their skin color or hair color. It’s a color that flatters everyone. And I love pairing a blazer with a wide legged pant. Banana Republic and New York & Company are my go-to stores for the perfect fit when it comes to wide legged pants. The ones featured here are in emerald, also a great pairing for cream, but also neutral tones as well. For my Boss Babes that are 5’7” and taller, a wide legged pant will not do you wrong, in fact, it will make you look even taller. For my petite Boss Babes, I highly recommend a tailored pant that’s ankle length, paired with a chunky heel. It’s chic and sophisticated.

Now I know, we don’t always love wearing heels, and the great thing is, Rothys has amazingly cute printed and solid printed shoes in many different styles, including a cute business casual sneaker. No matter what print you choose, my go-to is their solid black loafer style shoe. They’re really comfortable, durable, and last forever. Similar to durable shoes, it’s important to find lasting jewelry, such as these styles from Tory Burch and Kendra Scott.

I have been a fan of these two designers for a while and can attest that their styles are long lasting and do not tarnish. Pairing any of these outfit ideas with a bracelet, such as this Kendra Scott bangle, or these Tory Burch studs, are perfect. Or as I like to say, the cherry on the top. for these outfits. They’re truly timeless, just like all of the items in this gift guide and if you’re shopping for a fellow Boss Babe, or even crafting your own holiday wishlist, you don’t want to miss these hot items this season.

Happy shopping my lovely Boss Babes!
